Public Health Dentistry

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of Community Dentistry, focusing on the principles of public health, disease prevention, and epidemiology as they relate to oral health. Students will learn about fluorides, health indicators, patterns of disease, preventive dentistry strategies, biostatistics, and ethics in dentistry. The course also covers national health programs, disease control, biomedical waste management, and the epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
