This course provides a comprehensive study of oral histology and dental anatomy, covering the structure, development, and function of teeth and surrounding oral tissues. Topics include tooth morphology, numbering systems, differences between primary and permanent dentition, dental occlusion, and the development and histology of enamel, dentin, pulp, cementum, bone, and the periodontal ligament. The course also explores the oral mucous membrane, salivary glands, tooth eruption and shedding, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and the maxillary sinus. Emphasis is placed on understanding the anatomical and functional aspects of oral structures to support clinical applications in dentistry.
In this project, you’ll model user activity data for a music streaming app called Sparkify. You’ll create a relational database and ETL pipeline designed to optimize queries for understanding what songs users are listening to. In PostgreSQL you will also define Fact and Dimension tables and insert data into your new tables.
